Fall 2024 - I loved this class! I looked forward to it everyday! Sariel is funny and the class is fun. It's 5 days a week, so you get to know your classmates and it's fun. The workload is very managable, I'd say the daily homework took me less than 5 minutes. Participation is important. The midterm and final weren't too bad. He doesn't take attendance and I know if the homework was a part of our grade or not, but the more homework you do and classes you go, the easier the course is.

If you have any interest in hebrew at all, then definitely take this class with this professor. Ezer is everything you look for in a professor: She truly wants everyone to get an A and will make sure that everyone is on the right track to do so, she's funny, she knows the material incredibly well, and she really drills the language into your head. She calls on people who look like they aren't paying attention and will try to call on each person in the class at least once or twice a day so its best to be prepared for that day's lesson. Her tests are all fair and basically if you put in about 10 minutes a night for homework (definitely do all the homework) and learning the day's vocabulary, you will succeed. Don't miss her class! She notices! She'll confront you about it! She's a machine! She's great though and you should take her, especially if you need to get the language requirement out of the way.
