Today was Leddy's last class here--a tragedy. Why on earth are the lecturers who are given awards for teaching fired??? He is an amazing lecturer. He never looks at any notes the entire time due to the extreme knowledge on the topic and his passion. Students were crying today as his last lecture ended--how many teachers can say that?? Insightful, brillant and caring, what more can I say, he is an inspiration. Shame on you UCLA.

Fall 2018 - Miller has practically no idea what he's talking about. Just being able to follow his train of thought is a feat, let alone taking anything away from this class. He barely explains the essays that you write, and he is not willing to discuss the criteria used to grade or how to improve your score on the next paper.

I would highly recommend taking a class with Professor Zackey. I took two of his classes for my minor, Geography 5 and Geography M128, and both classes were awesome! He is definitely one of those professors you'll remember years later after graduating from UCLA. He is always willing to answer questions and is very helpful in preparing his students for exams. His midterms and finals are both fair; the exam question can usually be answered in short paragraphs. He is a great professor who is passionate about his work and that is truly inspiring!
