Description: Seminar, three hours. Requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. Freshmen/sophomores preferred. Examination of questions of race, gender, and class in western European Christianity, through visionary literature. Examination of how visions of Christ, Mary, and saints empower women, people of color, and people of low economic status from Middle Ages to present. Letter grading.
