Fall 2019 - This class is more difficult than other elementary language classes. It is harder than the past since the professor changed the format of the midterms in this quarter. DO NOT take this class if you don't want to ruin your GPA!! AND it is really based on which TA you take with. If you really want to learn French, do not take the class with the TA Re***ca!! She's probably good at speaking French but not good at teaching it. She spoke French SUPER fast just like showing off her French, and she was often so confused.

Celia is strict and has high expectations for her students, but that's what makes her a good TA. She knows her stuff and is serious about French so if you go to office hours, she's more than willing to help. Even though I had her during her first term here, she was always prepared for class. I highly recommend her although she's only here for a year.
