Spring 2018 - Readings can be pretty dense, but the topic is really interesting and fun. You get to watch shows from different eras, and the final paper is a comparison between an old television show and a new television show (both of your choice!). My TA had group projects, but other sections didn't, so the workload does depend on your TA. The exams were multiple choice and essay, so if you have the basic facts and ideas, you're gonna be okay. Slides aren't posted, so you'll need to show up for at least the first half of class, which is the lecture portion.
