Fall 2018 - So overall Global Pop with Dollar is really easy. There are two papers (one of which you have to go to a world music concert for) and two exams. They are both ridiculously easy (I think the average on the midterm was around a 95%). The only downside to this class is that the two hour lectures can be really really boring. Like so boring that 20/300 people dropped in the first week. HOWEVER, if you stick through it the class is a very easy A. He also gave 3% extra credit with a writing assignment based on one of the documentaries watched in class. The playlists aren't really that important to listen to except for the midterm and final playlist (obviously).

Fall 2023 - This class is an easy GE. You just have 3 papers to write and an attendance Grade for discussion and readings you can preview to talk about. The professor is very passionate about the material and his lectures are more of a conversation but still the few times i actually attended it was an interesting conversation. Definitely recommend if you want something light.
