Description: Lecture, three hours; discussion, two hours. Not open for credit to students with credit for Ecology and Evolutionary Biology 116. Examination of interrelation of natural biotic and human systems. Description of distribution of biodiversity and natural processes that maintain it. Critical analysis of various levels of threats and multidimensional challenges required for mitigating threats. Letter grading.
