Winter 2024 - This class was honestly a really easy and interesting course. For structure, the class had in-person lectures that had a quiz for attendance credit at the beginning of them. The quiz was graded on completion, not accuracy. There were no midterms or finals and no discussion sections. Essentially, 20% of the grade was for 5 discussion posts throughout the quarter, 20% on a group project that was one slide long along with a presentation, 20% on a group project research paper, 15% on an individual essay, 20% on an individual case study as the final, and 5% for class quiz participation. Overall, the class was very doable and the TAs were super supportive. The professor is solid and really cares about your learning despite the fact that none of the material covered in the lecture gets tested on. I recommend this class and I feel like it was a good introduction to Environmental health.
