Description: Lecture, three hours; outside study, six hours. Limited to Engineering Executive Program students. Theory and application of quantitative methods in analysis and synthesis of engineering systems for purpose of making management decisions. Optimization of outputs with respect to dollar costs, time, material, energy, information, and manpower. Case studies and individual projects. S/U or letter grading.
