Professor Streeter is a very smart woman, kind, very considerate, and open to a students concerns. She will work with you, even allow for a creative project if your so inclined. I did not find her to be at all arrogant as others have said, quite the opposite in fact. On occasion she is scattered, but brilliant non the less! I loved her seminar and can recommend her to others!

This is why I love BRUINWALK...b/c Bruins look out for each other and I took his class and I got an A- but I learned so much more, I am not a English major but this guy is a repeat professor- [new bruins] that means take him as much as you can. SENIOR HERE- HE IS THE ONLY PROFESSOR THAT OFFERED TO HELP THE ENTIRE CLASS W/ PAPERS EVEN FOR OTHER CLASSES, "you can always come to me for help," so this is more than a class, its a learning experience that will stick in your head for life! The reading is typical for UCLA but the his selection of the material is extremely interesting and he teaches you how to recognize repeated themes, analysis of the books. Especially if you are non-African American you will find the literature very entertaining and surprising. However, if your a black student it may jog some memories about the plight of our grandparents that can hit an emotional nerve, I cried a few times just reading the works. But, I was also empowered and grateful b/c for the first time I understood- the reading takes you back to their time in history, you see, smell and feel what they felt! THAT'S WHY THIS CLASS WAS SO POWERFUL.
