Winter 2023 - I really enjoyed Professor Seltzer's lectures. He takes a philosophical approach on the novels for the class and deviates from the typical discussion of race, gender, and class which in my opinion is far more interesting. The reading list and list of assignments has been the most manageable so far in my experience as an English major. He was also very accommodating with extensions on essays if you talk to him about your circumstances. Unfortunately, I was unable to submit the class evaluation for him but I hope he sees this and knows how much I appreciated him.
