Renaissance Worlds
Description: Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Enforced requisites: courses 10A, 10B. Variable topics, including travel literature, exploration and expansion, transnational and transoceanic texts, science and cosmography, conceptual worlds of myth and philosophy, as expressed in literature and other arts. May be repeated for credit with topic or instructor change. P/NP or letter grading.

She's fantastic. I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Brilliant, funny, engaging. She genuinely cares about her students. If you're looking to cruise by with a perfect A in her (or any) class offered by the English Dept, you probably should think about changing your major. She challenges in the appropriate ways. You'll work in your class but that's kinda the point. Just do your work and read all the readings. It's really that simple.
