Finding Ecological Solutions to Environmental Problems
Description: Seminar, two hours; discussion, two and one half hours. Requisite: course 100. Ecological practicum in which students work in teams with client (e.g., non-profit, governmental) to research and propose solutions to diverse ecological problems. Students learn practical skills to apply ecological science to solving of diverse and interdisciplinary environmental problems, in intimate and participatory environment. Students learn and are expected to produce high-quality academic work at professional level. Letter grading.

Winter 2021 - This class is fun and very helpful however I hate their grading system because they give ambiguous instructions and then don’t give you good points no matter how good your paper was or how satisfied your client is. Lipman is not a straight forward Professor and you should know that before enrolling.
