Plant Physiological Ecology

Description: Lecture, three hours; laboratory, three hours; one two-day field trip. Requisites: Life Sciences 1 or 7B, Physics 1C and 4BL, or 5B or 6C. Study of plant/environment interactions under natural conditions. Transpiration and photosynthesis, leaf temperatures, and water movement in soil/plant/atmosphere continuum. Letter grading.
