Instructional Apprenticeship in Teaching and Learning at UCLA Lab School
Description: Tutorial, 10 hours. Limited to juniors/seniors. Training and supervised apprenticeship for advanced undergraduate students at UCLA Lab School (Corinne A. Seeds campus), K-6 elementary school on UCLA campus. Students gain understanding of innovative educational work that goes into teaching and learning at UCLA Lab School through seminars, readings, observations, and discussions. Individual meetings with faculty mentor throughout term. May be repeated for credit. Individual contract required. Letter grading.

Dr. Catterall is an amazing, chill professor. He really cares about his students and reaching out to them. He's very smart and allows alot of freedom with the work. I wouldn't say that his class is so easy because you don't have to 'think", more because he allows everyone to pick what they'd like to research etc.
