Professor Hirshleifer is a genius. He is getting a little old but he's like a wonderful granfather figure. The content of the seminar is extremely difficult but it's not like you are tested on it or have homework. You just have to present one paper and write one paper and two extra writeups in between. Not that bad. I recommend taking his class. He is by far the most intelligent and most eloquent writer in the Economics department at UCLA.
