I am currently taking econ 103. while it is only the beginning of the 4th week, i can assure you that this review is comprehensive and accurate. professor kyria is so bad she defies description. she prints the notes the book comes with and then reads them aloud in class. she does not teach. i doubt she knows how to teach. and then she assigns homework she hasn't taught and gets mad that you haven't learned enough statistics already. her ta's try, but they suck, too. there's not enough time for them to help, and believe me, you need it badly.

There is a difference between the material being difficult/hard versus time-consuming. I don't think Econ 103 was difficult at all (i.e. understanding the material), but it was certainly enormously time consuming to finish the problem sets using Stata (THE COMMANDS!!! UGHHH!!! Could never remember any). If you found Calculus to be straight forward and intuitive, then Econ 103 should be the same (or easier). I think Enrico's lectures were excellent. He really emphasizes getting to the root of things and understanding the theory, rather than just going through problems. I mean, I really found lectures worthwhile, for a change. I think he is very clear and straight forward. The only one bad thing was that the midterm was super easy and the final was about 100 times harder. It's better to have the same level of difficulty on both, so you know what to expect (in case he reads this at some point). In general, VERY good, reasonable but still challenging professor.

Summer 2023 - Manu's econ103&103L are awesome. great slides, 3 homeworks(40%), an open internet midterm(30%) and an R project for final(30%). He gave us all high scores and willing to help on any relevant problems about the class. But I got to say his lectures are not that interesting and I often zone out during his lectures lol
