Fall 2020 - The way ECE 112 works, you have two different instructor which each takes care of 5 weeks of the class. For this class 40% of your grade consist of 8 hw sets which are relevant to lectures, following by 30% midterm and another 30% for final. Also lectures are on week 1-4 and 6-9 and you get one week for each exam (weeks 5 and 10). Dr. Castaneda teaches the first 5 weeks of class and he did an incredible job on it. Even though class is fully online, as long as you go over prerecorded lectures you will be fine. Midterm was similar to hw sets so you don't need to spend so much time studying outside class.

Fall 2020 - ECE 112 has two instructors which Dr. Habibi took care of the second part. He's a really good teacher but not as good as Castaneda. Even though they use same format for both part of the class, but I felt I learnt more in first 5 weeks with Castaneda. Overall its a really good class for ECE major and good preparation for power section of FE exam, however it could be an easy A for other students to take as their TBR course.
