Description: Lecture, three hours; studio, one hour. Designed for juniors/seniors. Variable topics course with discussion of injury prevention, anatomy for dancers, and study of biological and physical principles of human movement as related to dance. May be repeated for credit without limitation. P/NP or letter grading.

Spring 2016 - The class is very hands-on and personal. Participation and engagement are essential for not only your grade but also for a deeper understanding of the concepts. The class is based Alexander technique which is relearning, reeducating and releasing habits the body creates over a certain amount of time. The class allows you to dig deeper into one's self and figure out the most efficient way to complete everyday tasks.
