Voice and Its Perception
Description: Lecture, four hours. Focus on how human voice conveys information about identity of speakers, physical characteristics, personality, and emotional state, and on how listeners utilize this information to make judgments about speakers. Letter grading.

Fall 2020 - Please keep in mind that I took this course during the time of COVID-19 so it was all virtual. Lectures were all pre-recorded so you could watch them on your own time. No textbook is required, but there are some assigned pdf readings for some weeks. There were ten assignments (one for each week) and no midterms or finals. Some of the assignments were one-page reports just showing that you can use Praat (the program you use throughout the course) and others were a short quiz. Simple stuff, though some concepts are a bit confusing, however professor is more than willing to help! Easy and fun class, highly recommend!
