Introduction to AI Ethics - Interdisciplinary Approach
Description: Seminar, one hour. Interdisciplinary introduction to classical and modern ethical theory and their implications on emerging autonomous technologies. Focus on six ethical principles of artificial intelligence (AI) identified by Microsoft: fairness, inclusiveness, reliability, transparency, privacy, and accountability. Introductions to AI Robotics Ethics Society (AIRES), UCLA Law AI Pulse program, AI Ethics Lab, USC Center for Artificial Intelligence in Society (CAIS), and more. P/NP grading. Facilitated by Aaron Hui, with Yutao He as faculty mentor.
