Introduction to Collaborative Learning Theory and Practice
Description: Seminar, one hour; outside study, two hours. Training seminar for undergraduate students who are selected for learning assistants (LA) program. Exploration of current topics in pedagogy and education research focused on methods of learning and their practical application in small-group settings. Students practice communication skills with constant assessment of and feedback on progress. Letter grading.
