I had Nasia as a T.A. during my Sophomore year with Professor Gabra. Nasia was a wonderful T.A. and was genuinely concerned about student learning and was extremely approachable. She did a wonderful job of further explaining Edward Said's theory of Orientalism, Jeremy Bentham's Panopticon as well as Foucault. Nasia's insight on Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart indeed unique and very insightful. Overall a wonderful t.a. and I hoped for the opportunity of having her again.

Winter 2017 - Lectures aren't mandatory, but they are helpful background content for writing the essays. Most of the book is discussed in discussion, so reading is mandatory if you want to keep up with discussion and plan out the essays. Usually the TA's were the ones to help you structure and write the essays. Pretty easy class for the writing II requirement.

Spring 2024 - BEST WRITING 2 CLASS(and diversity credit too). Bosch was super invested in the readings (easy and interesting), which made the class more engaging. She also had great slideshows that were easy to follow along and take notes on! She was always there to offer tips and help brainstorm on essay topics, but I only ended up writing two essays out of the three because the last one was turned optional. Also, her feedback was actually really helpful, and the essay grades were very fair. I would totally recommend it!
