Winter 2021 - Do not take her class if being unorganized makes you mad! Blackwell is the worst professor I've had so far, she is very messy and unorganized, she does not have good communication with her students and expects a lot of work with very little notice. She also makes a lot of passive comments and comes off as rude. She will also go past class time with no regard for students schedules, not to mention the class is extremely boring I wanted to rip my hair out. I personally do not like her and hope I never have to take a class with her again.

Spring 2016 - Prof. Carpio was awesome. Both the midterm and final were online papers in blog forms. Each student was assigned a reading to further engage and present to the class. The readings were actually very interesting and are very insightful. For Chican@ Studies majors, this class will be very eye-opening and help in realizing the digital divide that can be traced to race. Totally recommend 10/10!
