Description: Lecture, two hours; discussion, one hour; computer laboratory, one hour. Requisites: courses 30C, 113A. Applications of quantum mechanical concepts and methods to understand and predict organic structures and reactivities. Computational modeling methods, including laboratory experience with force-field and quantum mechanical computer calculations. Concurrently scheduled with course C145. S/U or letter grading.
