Description: Seminar, one hour; fieldwork, three hours. Limited to senior departmental majors and minors. Designed to serve as complement to service learning requirement for major and minor and may be used to fulfill capstone requirement for major and minor. Students work as research team, are matched with one or more community groups, and must complete minimum of 40 fieldwork hours. Duties and responsibilities collaboratively determined by instructor, students, and sponsoring organizations. Readings determined in consultation with instructor. Letter grading.
