Critical examination of U.S. involvement in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, including study of historical, cultural, political, and socioeconomic factors that shape relations between China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and U.S. Examination of impact of relationships in Pacific Rim and Chinese Americans and their communities.
