Fall 2024 - Harwell only had three exams, each was multiple choice. He provides study guides for each exam and has open office hours. Overall, If you pay attention in class, do the readings, and memorize the works of art from the study guide you are pretty much guaranteed an A! In terms of his lectures, he is very knowledgable on the subjects and kind of a silly guy unintentionally. It is such a pleasure to sit through his classes and he doesn't take attendance (you do have to go to class if you want to succeed). Expert tip: catch him before he runs out of class if you need to communicate with him because he is not great with answering emails. In summary, love this professor and the class was enjoyable!
