Printmaking
Description: Studio, eight hours; five hours arranged. Introductory survey of various technical and conceptual concerns in variety of printmaking media as preparation for more focused study in particular media at upper-division level. P/NP or letter grading.

Class taken: RELIGION 11 I think Prof. Polk is awesome and very knowledgeable. The class itself had some interesting materials (I mean who wouldn't want to learn about religion in a place like L.A.?), but the lectures did get a bit boring sometimes. He did present some cool videos, more so towards the end of the quarter. You can easily get an A (and he gives 3 extra credit opportunities). The class consisted of 3 essays and 1 take home final essay (due anytime during finals week). All of the essays weren't hard to do (as most were observational, and only one was research based). He doesn't allow you to use technology in class, so make sure to bring a notebook. Overall, I think this is an interesting class and I loved getting to know my city.
