Teaching Architectural History, Theory, and Criticism

Description: Seminar, three hours. Offers guidance and support to first-time teaching assistants (TAs) in Department of Architecture and Urban Design. Covers topics which include teaching philosophies, teaching methodologies, assessment/evaluation/grading practices, and professional development specific to academic professions in the field of architecture. Readings and assignments to develop fundamental teaching principles and provide methods with which to design course syllabi and evaluate/gather resources for course content. S/U grading.
