Description: Lecture, six hours. Course 1A is enforced requisite to 1B, which is enforced requisite to 1C. Not open to students with prior knowledge of Arabic. Introduction to formal Arabic (modern standard Arabic), including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. P/NP or letter grading.

Professor Mohammed is a very kind and interesting professor. She enjoys seeing her students learn, and even though Arabic is not an easy language, she takes you step by step throughout the process to ensure you can absorb all the information. I would definitely recommend her.
