Description: (Same as African American Studies M118, Asian American Studies M168, and Chicana and Chicano Studies M118.) Lecture, four hours. Exploration of issues in outreach and retention of students in higher education, especially through student-initiated programs, efforts, activities, and services, with focus on UCLA as case. May be repeated twice for credit. Letter grading.
