Winter 2016 - Professor Moreno offers the most intellectual stimulating courses at UCLA. He is extremely passionate about the subject and it shows in his lectures. He expects his students to not only to demonstrate understanding of the material, but to also critically analyze that which is presented. I have yet to find another professor during my time at UCLA that is as caring of his students, often times returning emails within minutes of being sent, providing appointments outside of office hours, and focus on his students academic growth. The course is not an easy A, but if you do the reading and are truly engaged you will be fine.
