Summer 2024 - Prof. Hicks is one of the most professional, empathetic, and easy-going instructors out there. He tailored the course around us and our mental health so we could get the most out of it, not just from an educational standpoint but more importantly from a wellbeing one as well. The class is mostly dialogue based (that's where your participation is graded on the most) and the final is a project. I've come out of his course enlightened (so have my loved one around since I've been spreading his teaching along outside of class)and definitely recommend him. I'll be for sure taking any other future classes of his down the road!
