Equations of tracer transport and chemical kinetics modeling in three dimensions; numerical techniques; coupled simulations of gas-phase and aerosol microphysics and chemistry; computational versus observational results; current problems in tracer modeling. S/U (for majors with consent of instructor after successful completion of written and oral comprehensive examination and for nonmajors at discretion of major department) or letter grading.
