Horrible apartment; it's overpriced for the amount of noise pollution from the Hermanos Unidos house and neighbors you get to know very well because of the thin walls, and management could not care less about any of your problems. They are very cold/detached and I have had many payment disputes with them claiming i haven't paid bills that i paid well in advance. The internet that is "complementary" goes out randomly all the time, which is detrimental as a student. You'll end up having to go to campus on those days and stay there bc you have no idea when it will be fixed. If you live in the unit across the street, your key won't open the units on the other side where the pool and gym are, so you're basically paying for things you don't really have access to. Service staff are the most kind people though, friendly and good at what they do. Rooms are spacious but limited storage. Overall, I would not live here again and would strongly advise others not to. Just go further south in westwood and find somewhere nicer; they depend on sophomores/juniors who don't know how to apartment hunt.

The Midvale Plaza apartments are nice, convenient and spacious. They are also ungodly expensive, surprisingly worn-down and probably not worth your trouble. It's an exploitative model that relies on UCLA students who want to live close and don't realize the costs are crazy.

Utilities are expensive ($115 for my apartment, monthly) and ours didn't get cheaper for December (when everybody was gone). Plus, utilities are double-charged through the Dept. of Water and Power every other month, so prepare to pay an extra $200-or-so on those cycles.

Are the apartments nice? Yeah. Thank god because you're paying so much. Is it worth it? No. Find something else.

- New monthly rent cost for a two-bedroom is $4500 for 2018-19. No thanks.

Awful place to live, so expensive for an unrenovated apartment. Also very loud, you'll get woken up often by the parties and the frat that lives on the backside of the building. Also, management is beyond dumb.
