The landlord is South African, sexist, and does not live in the building. He is pretty much impossible to get a hold of and most likely after a year of living in the place still won't remember your name. The living rooms are huge and the kitchen is about 3 times the size of the average Westwood apartment kitchen. There is a patio included, however it is rather small and only connected to one of the rooms. Rent is a little steep for sharing a room with someone. Be aware that if you have a room facing Midvale you will have to get used to extremely loud nights, nearly every night, since everyone apparently loves getting drunk on Midvale. Also the laundry room only has one washer and one dryer and has been nicknamed "The Sex Dungeon" because it is down in the basement and the light switch is on a timer which you pretty much fear will go off at any moment. If you choose to live here make sure you spend some time on the roof, its super chill up there. Or in the cute little cobblestone backyard. Overall its a great place, but be prepared for noise.
