I really enjoyed by time living here. I loved the walk to Wooden from here and the location of this building cannot be beat. There was always a great ocean breeze flowing through my apartment on the 3rd floor. The manager was always responsive to my needs and generally had things fixed by weeks end. I was looking for a central quite building and really found that here. Great memories live on.
Landlord difficult to communicate with. Barges in without prior notice. Overall one of the dirtiest, most disgusting apartment buildings in Westwood. Saying this apartment has a mold problem is an understatement. No matter how clean you are and how often you disinfect everything with bleach, the mold keeps coming back. Appliances are always falling apart. Only 1/4 of our stove worked for a whole year. Felt that I paid a bit too much for this type of accommodation.
Landlord/manager is never around. We sympathized in the beginning but realized how much he neglects the building. Everything started breaking down in the first month. Avoid at all costs, unless $50-100 difference matters more than proper building management and sanitation.
From the outside it looks a bit tough and there are some apartments that are a bit tough looking, but with some cleaning and nice furniture it's a great place to live. There are also double bedrooms available, but I am unsure of the pricing. All of the appliances work and there is a dishwasher! One parking space in including in underground parking for singles, but more spots are available if needed. 2 spots of underground apron style parking are available for the doubles. Landlord lives within building and quickly fixes anything that is not working. He really likes clean people, or individuals who look like they will keep the apartment clean. Laundry room is in basement of building. There is a working elevator. all these apartments need are some TLC.
