The apartment was very nice and spacious but the manager was the reason I stayed for two years. He was incredibly accommodating and always available whenever you needed him. He was able to install anything needed to improve our experience, which I really appreciated. My roommates and I relied heavily on him throughout the two years and he always came through no matter what. Would highly recommend living here as good management is very rare, specially in Westwood.

I have lived in this building complex for two years and it has been a great experience. The apartment my roommates and I rented was a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a very nice view of the pool. The landlord, Danny, is very nice and friendly, and concerned with the maintenance of the apartments. Definitely recommend this place.

My other 2 roommates and I pay $1,850 for rent total, which was $616 each. Our apartment has 1 room and a really spacious living room. Also, the manager Danny gave us a parking space to each with no additional cost and he sometimes asks for us to take care of other parking spaces so that random people won't park in them. This is great because we always have parking spaces to offer to our friends when they come over. So if one of your most concerns is parking, Danny is really nice about it!!! Also, our apartment balcony has a nice view of the pool, which is great! We started living in this complex on September of 2015, and after a year decided to renew our lease not only because of the short distance from campus, and the availability of parking spaces, but also because we have a really spacious apartment!

The landlord, Danny, is very congenial and willing to help make your stay in the building a good one. Sometimes you can hear the fraternities nearby playing loud music, people yelling/screaming, etc. -- not too bad though. Very short walking distance to campus, which is great. Overall I have had a good stay (stayed for about six months).

I've lived in this apartment building for two years, one year under the previous manager and one year under the new manager Danny. As others have noted, the previous manager was very bad (you can refer to old reviews of the building to know what I'm talking about). Ever since Danny took over, however, this building has been one of the best ones I've seen in Westwood during my time living here. The building is very well kept, and any problems that you have with your apartment Danny gets addressed ASAP (plumbing, lighting, etc). Danny also goes out of his way to make sure that his tenants are happy in the building, by actively introducing you to other tenants in the building and making small talk whenever the opportunity arises. Even after I moved out of the building, when I sometimes drive by the building and see Danny he'll stop me for a quick chat. He's a great life counselor as well :). Being chill with his tenants does not stop him from enforcing policies, however, which is important. We had some tenants in the building who would play very loud music and get rowdy on certain occasions, yelling racial racial slurs once that made some tenants in the building feel uncomfortable. Danny was quick and very stern in his reprimand to the group, and encouraged us to call the police if the event ever happened again in the future. The one negative of this building is that if you get one of the upper level apartments facing the frats, you can't really do anything about the noise from those building. Other than that though, I had a wonderful experience in this building under Danny's care taking. As a side note, the rent that we paid for an average sized 1-bedroom apartment was about 1900.

This apartment is really good for students to live. It's walking distance to the campus, clean, fair rent, and most importantly, the manager, Danny is amazing! He's super helpful, really chill and cheerful!! I enjoyed all the little chat with him every time I met him in the apartment. I still remember a couple of times that he helped me out. He would call the gas company/plumbers for us again and again until the problems get fixed. He checked the video with me to find out how who took my mails. I would live here my entire UCLA years if I didn't have to move out for personal reasons. Really enjoyed living here, and thank you so much Danny!

When I was just a new junior transfer on fall 2016, I was having hard time to find a studio apartment since most of them are very expensive. Glad I found strathmore towers! The manager, danny, gave me best price and he is very nice. He always cares about tenants and make sure everything is all right. When the shower and toilet broke down, he came in (it was sunday), and fixed it. He is very funny and easy to talk to and help us if we ever have any problem with the building. I totally recommend this apartment to anybody!

I've started living in apartments ever since Sophomore year of UCLA and have lived in plenty of areas around Westwood since. Out of all of them, I love Strathmore Towers the most. I've lived here for about 1.5 years now and I have to say, the manager and community here are the best. Though I live in a studio apt. it is spacious and every time something goes wrong, all I have to do is tell the manager and he'll fix it, no charge to my security deposit or anything. The pool is actually regularly cleaned, even in the winter, which is AMAZING. None of the previous places I lived at have done that, and I was always disappointed. There is also free gated parking included for the apt., which is awesome since I have peace of mind that my car won't be ticketed for no reason when parking in the streets like I always see happen to others. The manager does a really good job of keeping the entire complex clean. Once a week a staff of cleaning people will come and clean the hallways, laundry room, poolside, etc. The balcony is a huge plus; it let's in fresh air and tons of natural light. The manage is friendly even if he is a bit loud haha. If you tell him any situations that come up the manager is more than willing to accommodate your needs if he can. Usually the apt. complex is quiet and peaceful. I am so happy I found this place to spend my last two years of school!

This is the second year my boyfriend and I have been living at this apartment. I can say that it has been such a wonderful experience living here. To our knowledge the previous manager, Gabby/Gabriel, was a real jerk and did not make any effort to better the lives of the tenants here. I can gladly say that the current manager, Danny, had already replaced Gabby at the time of our arrival on moving day. Danny is very kind, always asking how we are doing and if there is anything he can do for us whenever we run into him. If there ever is anything that needs taking care of in our apartment Danny fixes the problem with punctuality, and never charges anything for the work he does or the utilities he replaces. The neighbors here are all wonderful and there is a real sense of community among us thanks to Danny's once-in-a-while poolside get-togethers that he invites everyone to during the holiday season and such. He makes sure to introduce everybody to each other and encourages a very positive energy here. I would really recommend moving here, it's quiet, always clean(including the pool), and above all, it's comfortable and you can always be sure that you will be taken care of and treated with respect. Good on the company for getting rid of the previous manager and finding such a stellar manager! Danny gets the job done and then some!!

I live in this apartment since 2015, and I have to say I like this apartment a lot. Although it is a relatively old unit (no AC), everything else is fine. Spacious living room and kitchen, nice landlord, wooden floor etc. The rent is ok too. I pay the 1b1b apartment for $2000 included parking. Overall I will recommend this apartment
